IABM global Dealer Database goes live to members

Brand new online database makes searching for dealers in new markets simple

IABM today launches its brand new Dealer Database which will speed up the selling process for its members in new markets around the globe. The creation of the Dealer Database was announced at this year's NAB2015, and the site is now live and available to IABM members.

The searchable online database was developed primarily so a member can find systems integrators, dealers and representatives geographically in regions where they are not familiar with the market. The Dealer Database, which includes more than 300 listings, can be searched based on a specific country and by the type of dealer.

Lisa Collins, Head of Marketing at IABM said: IABM member companies are based all around the world, and when moving into a new geography one of the key business requirements is to identify who can resell their product portfolio quickly and effectively. Most manufacturers have a combination of direct sales and channel sales and by accessing the new database they can directly reach partners that will enable them to connect to their target audience and accelerate penetration even when they are completely new entrant to the region.

There are multiple channels in each region around the world, most of them are experienced dealers or system integrators with expertise in specialist products that IABM members and manufacturers offer.

Lisa said: All of the dealers have been selected based on their expertise in the television and video marketplaces, and are experienced in selling the type of products that IABM members represent and manufacture. The dealers are also knowledgeable about what local customers require so the manufacturers will have faster exposure to the market to achieve sales success".

The database system is available exclusively to IABM Members within the resources area of the IABM website, and can be accessed by members using their existing passwords.
