Yahlive Brings African Television to the GCC

Taking a step towards expansion, UAE-based satellite operator Yahlive have signed a deal with See Africa Benin to welcome on board 42 new African channels (mostly French spoken), including 25 channels that are exclusive to the operator. The signing ceremony, held at the renowned Cabsat 2018, saw the two entities join together to initiate entry into the African segment. With focus mainly on the UAE, Maghreb and KSA, the channels will be free-to-air till early 2019 which will be followed by an introduction of Pay TV for exclusive channels.

Aiming to generate awareness among African viewers, the collaboration spells success for Yahlive as they venture into expanding their audience reach and engagement. With 360+ channels that target various cultural backgrounds including South Asia and the GCC, the collaboration intends to enhance viewer experience for the African community and broaden the select segment's channel bouquet.
