Berklee Wins CASE Award for Standout Digital Campaign The Alumni Affairs team's Variations Signature Series earned recognition for offering an authentic perspective on the post-graduation experience.

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) awarded the Berklee Alumni Affairs team's Variations Signature Series a silver medal in the digital campaigns (alumni-oriented) category of its 2025 Circle of Excellence Awards. The series offered a brave and honest perspective on the alumni experience after graduation, according to award judges.

Berklee's Variations campaign highlights the careers of alumni through a deeply personal lens, exploring both early struggles and hard-earned triumphs. To mark the fifth anniversary of the series, Alumni Affairs released a multi-episode feature titled Variations Signature Series, celebrating the accomplishments of three alumni: Dhy Edwardsberry '13 (aka Neon Black), a performer in Atlanta; Sarah Tudzin '14, an engineer in Los Angeles; and Evan Nachimson '16, a show producer in New York.

Award judges lauded Variations Signature Series for directly addressing a feeling that not only their alumni experience, but one many young graduates of any college or university could relate to. They also noted how the intimate nature of each narrative in the series created a way to normalize that [experience] and tell relatable stories, while also celebrating accomplishments.

The award marks the third consecutive year that Berklee alumni publications have earned honors from CASE. In 2024, the alumni magazine Berklee Today and the podcast series Pass the Mic won medals in the design and podcast categories, respectively.
