Clear-Com will return to DSEI Connect 2021 from September 14 to September 17, exhibiting on booth H5-250. DSEI looks a bit different this year, returning to ExCel London for the live component, while also offering a virtual program for those who are unable to join in person. Clear-Com will be showcasing several key technologies highlighting Trilogy's Mercury Interface Unit (MIU) and the award-winning FreeSpeak II Digital Wireless Intercom System across security and defense-specific applications.
DSEI is the world's largest gathering of the defense and security community-air, space, land, naval, cyber and joint-bringing together governments, national armed forces, industry thought leaders and everyone involved in the related supply chains. Clear-Com is a longtime manufacturer of critical communications systems for the military, aerospace and government marketplaces where secure, reliable, low latency comms are absolutely crucial for successful operations. Clear-Com systems are ideally suited for command centers and other applications where comms play a central role in managing tactical forces on the ground.
The Trilogy Mercury Interface Unit is a multi-purpose tool that provides multi-channel real-time voice communication, radio interoperability, conventional and VoIP telephony, and other capabilities over terrestrial and/or satellite networks. It can be used as a single-site or standalone intercom system of up to 32 users in close proximity (up to 1500 ft). The MIU acts as a versatile audio processing unit and IP gateway allowing a wide range of external devices to be connected to the intercom network and is most often used in Ground Control Stations, Cross Domain Solutions, Radio Interfacing and Bridging, and Test and Evaluation scenarios.
Integrating FreeSpeak II digital wireless with the MIU system can effectively expand the system across more users in large-scale operations. It is a distributed wireless solution that operates in multiple worldwide license-free frequency bands, 1.9 GHz and 2.4 GHz, while maintaining strong and continuous wireless connection across an expansive coverage area and providing crystal-clear digital audio, making it an ideal wireless roaming solution for military and government applications. Use case scenarios typically Clean Rooms and Satellite Assembly/Test Environments, Training and Simulation, Test and Evaluation, Flight Line Operations, Hazardous Material Handling and Unmanned Systems Support Work.
