Johan Apel, president and CEO of ChyronHego, acknowledges that "the broadcast industry is currently very fragmented and prepares for consolidation with migration to a completely based on IT and production environments as pillars based software environment. ready to have a major role in this consolidation and transformation in the IT industry. VidiGo solutions provide tools designed easy to use automation minimizing the need for specialized technical staff and consequent savings in production costs. With the acquisition of the product family VidiGo, ChyronHego be well positioned to take advantage of new and emerging opportunities in broadcast environments in relation to the production of news, sports, and other non-traditional markets such as corporate and public sector every day use more video tools.
