FOR-A to Show Off FUJITSU IP Encoder and Decoder Solutions at NAB 2014

Cypress, CA, April 3, 2014 At the upcoming NAB Show, FOR-A will showcase Fujitsu's line of high-performance video transmission solutions. FOR-A will be exhibiting in booth C5117 at NAB, which takes place April 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The company recently became North American distributor of Fujitsu's encoder and decoder solutions.
High-performance Fujitsu IP-920, and IP-9610 encoder/decoder solutions will all be on display. The encoder/decoder series uses advanced MPEG-4 AVC technology encoding, known as H.264, to provide best-in-class video fidelity. Fujitsu IP-920 and IP-9610 are capable of operating at less than 99ms back-to-back latency, and feature real-time transmission and robust error correction. The Fujitsu IP series solutions enable broadcast quality video to be sent over public Internet connections. Fujitsu IP-9610 supports 10bit 4:2:2 color format, 1080 / 60p and 3G-SDI input/output, making it an ideal choice for applications with high-speed movement video with high resolution. Popular Fujitsu IP series solutions are widely used for HD/SD content delivery in broadcast, enterprise and government applications.
Aligning with its show theme, FOR-A for a 4K Future, the company will have a 4K display of Fujitsu solutions using two IP-9610 video encoders. FOR-A will also show Fujitsu HEVC/H.265 technology currently in development.
A Fujitsu Video link technology exhibit will also be shown. The Fujitsu exclusive technology, currently being used by a television network in Japan, enables viewers to use their smart phone or tablet to scan television programs, and it will then automatically pull up the website related to the television programs.
