Christie is displaying its latest control room technology at ASIS 2016 in Orlando, FL, from September 12-15. Showcasing technology for security professionals, Christie is launching the new Christie Phoenix EP (Embedded Processor), LCD solutions including the new FHD492-XV and Christie FHD552-XV flat panels, and LED solutions including Christie Entero HB 70-inch HD front access cubes, Christie MicroTiles, and Christie Velvet Apex Series 1.2mm LED tiles.

Christie Phoenix and Christie Phoenix EP: Manage content securely

Launching at ASIS 2016 is the Christie Phoenix EP, a compact, budget-friendly, highly scalable solution for managing content on single or multiple panels. Phoenix EP is installed directly into compatible Christie displays and connects to a network using CATx cable. Christie Phoenix systems, including Phoenix, Phoenix EP and Phoenix Quad T, streamline project designs and eliminate the need for audiovisual distribution equipment, which simplifies the installation process.

Christie Phoenix will be powering all displays on the booth, and now supports direct integration with Milestone Systems XProtect, a leading open platform IP video management software (VMS). Christie Phoenix obtains H.264 camera data directly from the XProtect recording server, and automated video wall control is initiated from the XProtect event server. Christie Phoenix is easy to integrate with XProtect, creating a unified solution for video management and control room operations. Users benefit with improved reaction time, simplified control and reduced training.

Affordable LCD flat panels for single or video wall configurations

Launching at ASIS 2016, Christie FHD492-XV and FHD552-XV, 49-inch and 55-inch respectively, are versatile and affordable LCD panels that fit easily into a video wall or standalone application. Rated for 24/7 performance with a narrow bezel of 13mm (6.5mm per side), these panels are compatible with the new Phoenix EP. Backed by Christie's full service and support, these panels offer peace of mind not available from consumer products.

Display solutions for control room environments

ASIS attendees will see a 1 x 2 display of 70-inch Christie Entero HB front access display cubes. Christie Entero HB display solutions offer 24/7 performance and high brightness, which make them ideal for control room environments. Designed without consumables, Entero cubes have no scheduled maintenance for at least five years.

Christie MicroTiles display: Built on DLP technology, MicroTiles are specifically built for indoor applications with high ambient lighting that require superior image resolution.

Also on the booth will be the Apex Series of 1.2mm LED tiles. Part of the Christie Velvet family, Apex Series - with pixel pitches starting at 1.2 millimeters - is designed for 24/7 critical viewing applications including command and control rooms, and high security surveillance monitoring.
