Korona mixer and camera LDX-86, main bets of Grass Valley in Las Vegas The new camera LDX-86 4K native promises flexibility and use an eLicense upgrade program.

New LDX - 86

One of the novelties in the NAB is the new camera LDX-86, native 4K that promises great flexibility and use an eLicense upgrade program.

Belonging to the family LDX, LDX-86 new has a sensor 2/3 with 4K resolution native in a 16:9 aspect ratio with full sensor lens. It employs three CMOS sensors 4K Xensium capable of generating 3820 2160 pixels.

The new LDX will be marketed as their "sisters" under a program of licensing options with HFR HiSpeed 1 x / 3 x HD; Xtreme Spped 1 x / 3 x / 6 x HD and 1 x / 3 x in 3G; WorldCam containing 3 G/HD in 1080i/720 p/1080PsF/1080 p; 4K WorldCam functions but with 3820 2160 UHD; and Universe which supports universal and selectable 1 x / 3 x / 6 x HD, 1 x / 3 x 3 G and 1 x 4 K.

Also called secure attention at the stand of Grass Valley its new compact mixer Korona, designed to reduced or budgets tight spaces.

Thanks to a touchscreen, the operators can streamline the production of content. He has an integrated in the panel menu and uses the same OLED and technology of colour as the Grass Valley large panels.

With the objective of completing its line of production in the segment of compact mixers, this proposal is positioned as the "younger brother" of the popular Kayenne or Karrera.

The system is available in 1 or 2 m/e panels, featuring s-series K-Frame processing technology and is compatible with higher line solutions.

Korona supports multiple HD formats and can easily be upgraded to 3G / 4K with a software license acquisition. The control panel supports up to 20 assignable buttons in each m/e. Despite its small size, it has a great capacity for routing signals with an array of 80 48 with inputs and outputs optional IP in SMPTE 2022-6 ST I/o.

GV Node

In order to offer the market a solution gass-to-glass processing, routing and monitoring with native IP interfaces, Grass Valley has developed GV Node. This solution aims to cover both the routing, processing in IP and multi-screen in a single compact platform.
