I have always been an avid reader of historical fiction. Because I have read my fair share of these types of novels, finding a really good one that stands out and stays with you has become rare.

However, Kristin Hannah has done it once again with her triumphant novel, The Women. We are not halfway through the year yet and already this novel is on my favorite books list for 2024.

The way Hannah writes the deeply rich and realistic inner lives of characters is utterly gripping. Her stories have a way of drawing you in and absolutely shattering your heart with its sadness. Her characters feel so real that you share in their pain and joy, and you learn their hard life lessons with them.

It is no surprise that The Women has become one of Hannah's bestsellers as it is, in my opinion, her best work to date.
