Telef nica and Vivendi for Latin America launch first premium short series mobile app Studio ofrecer acceso ilimitado a series originales producidas exclusivamente para smartphones, con temporadas de 10 episodios, con una duraci n media de 10 minutos cada uno.
Telef nica, a trav s de Movistar, y Vivendi, la compa a francesa propietaria de Canal y de Universal Music Group, han presentado en Buenos Aires Studio , la primera aplicaci n de series premium cortas para dispositivos m viles.
Mediante este servicio dirigido a Am rica Latina, los clientes de la operadora podr n acceder a series originales que podr n ver desde sus smartphones en cualquier momento y lugar, en calidad HD. Estamos convencidos de que este formato es el futuro del video , ha se alado Leandro Musciano, director regional de Desarrollo de Productos de Telef nica.
Los millenials ven tres veces m s videos que las otras generaciones. De ellos, el 62% son videos en formato corto. Sabemos que la penetraci n de smartphones en este segmento llega al 78%. Por eso creemos que Studio -basado en series de videos cortos y filmadas especialmente para la pantalla de un smartphone- trae una soluci n de entretenimiento que hoy no existe para una parte del mercado que est en evoluci n , afirm el directivo.
De esta manera, Studio estrena una nueva generaci n de series cortas, con episodios producidos y filmados especialmente para m viles. Las producciones cuentan con escenas de encuadres m s cerrados y guiones m s din micos, y una duraci n aproximada de 10 minutos por episodio.
Con temporadas de alrededor de 10 cap tulos, las miniseries est n pensadas para una experiencia ciento por ciento mobile , permitiendo a los fan ticos de las series entretenerse en las peque as pausas del d a, ya sea v a streaming o descargando el contenido en sus equipos.

La aplicaci n, desarrollada y dise ada por Watchever, otra compa a de Vivendi, posibilita al cliente definir la calidad del video que desea mirar, para facilitar la gesti n del consumo de datos y la utilizaci n de la capacidad de almacenamiento del tel fono, y permite colocar se as, para que los padres puedan controlar el acceso a contenidos para mayores de 16 a os.
Studio cuenta al momento con temporadas completas de 15 series de diferentes g neros, como terror, romance, drama, acci n, aventura, suspenso y ciencia ficci n, que fueron filmadas en distintas partes del mundo. Tambi n ofrece cortometrajes, totalizando m s de 200 videos, cuyo n mero crece semana a semana.
