Budweiser Events Center Upgrades LED Displays with Daktronics

Daktronics has partnered with Budweiser Events Center of Loveland, Colorado, to design, manufacture and install multiple LED displays including a centerhung display configuration. Installation is planned for this summer.

We're excited to unveil the largest enhancement we've done to date at the Budweiser Events Center, says Bob Herrfeldt, director of The Ranch Events Complex. This upgrade will completely change the guest experience.

This upgrade will significantly enhance the guest experience at the Budweiser Events Center, and we can't wait to unveil the project to the public during the PRCA Rodeo at the Larimer County Fair this weekend, Herrfeldt said. We're grateful for the partnership we have with Spectra Venue Management who assisted in the funding of the largest improvement in the Budweiser Events Center to date.

The centerhung display configuration includes four main video displays measuring approximately 9.5 feet high and 16.5 feet wide. The main video displays will sport a 10 millimeter line spacing. Wide angle visibility ensures the displays will look great from any seat in the facility. The variable content zoning technology in these displays can be used to show a single large image or to show multiple windows with any combination of live video, instant replays, scoring information, up-to-the-minute statistics, graphics and animations, and sponsor messaging.

A ring display that features a 10 millimeter line spacing and measures approximately 2 feet high and 46 feet wide will be incorporated in the center-hung display configuration. Two large fascia displays with 15 millimeter line space and measuring approximately 2 feet high and 198.5 feet wide will surround the action.

Additional auxiliary displays include an end-wall display measuring 5 feet high and 14.5 feet wide and a mobile display measuring 12.5 feet high and 25 feet wide, each featuring a 10 millimeter line spacing. The installation sports more than 1,000 square feet of display area.

Georgia State University to Receive Daktronics Centerhung System

Daktronics has partnered with Georgia State University (GSU) to design, manufacture and install a centerhung display system. Installation will take place this summer at Sports Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

It is an exciting time for us as we work with Daktronics on this new centerhung display, says Steve Wojcikowski Assistant AD for Facilities and Operations. We have had a great relationship with Daktronics over the years and this new board will allow much more in terms of fan experience in the GSU Sports Arena.

The centerhung configuration will consist of four main video displays: two measuring approximately 7.5 feet high by 18.5 feet wide and two measuring about 7.5 feet high by 11.5 feet wide. All the displays will feature 10 millimeter line spacing and wide-angle visibility ensuring they look great from any seat in the facility. All these video displays are capable of variable content zoning, which allows them to show one large image or to be divided into multiple zones filled with any combination of live video, instant replays, scoring information, up-to-the-minute statistics, sponsor highlights and crowd-pleasing animations.

We're excited to continue our long standing partnership with Georgia State University, says Glen Marts, Daktronics sales representative. This new centerhung display configuration will work with the existing endwall display to increase fan excitement and enhance the overall game-day atmosphere at the Sports Arena. The GSU volleyball and basketball fan experience will be brought to a whole new level.
