At the central office of RUE Beltelecom the Board of Directors was held with regard to the enterprise activities results for January-September 2016 26.10.2016

On October 26, at RUE Beltelecom the Board of Directors was held. The management of the company has negotiated the results of the activities of the enterprise for January-September 2016, the main decisions on implementation of the estimated figures for the IV quarter of 2016.

During the meeting the issues regarding the further development of the services, such as Smart Home , Yasna , and improvement of the services already familiar to the subscribers of byfly and ZALA were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the recent accession of RUE BRTTC to RUE Beltelecom. The specialists have discussed the organizational and technical measures in preparation for the autumn-winter period of 2016/2017 years.

The Board of Directors has made the instructions to the Directors of RUE Beltelecom Branches to ensure the implementation of all approved business plans on development of enterprise's branches, energy-saving measures developed under the program, and ensure the increase in the penetration of the company s services in the country.

Background

On October 1, 2016 penetration of fixed broadband per 100 inhabitants amounted to 24.6%. The number of subscribers more than 2.3 million.

Penetration of IPTV per 100 inhabitants amounted to 13.9%. The number of subscribers more than 1.3 million.

The number of commercial digital terrestrial television broadcasting subscribers at the end of the III quarter amounted to more than 120 thousand, Internet-TV more than 15 thousand subscribers.

On October 1, 2016 the number of subscribers connected to IMS-platform amounted to 1.6 million.

At the end of the III quarter the number of subscribers connected via GPON technology has reached 956.5 thousand subscribers.
