PANAVISION ANNOUNCES PLAN TO OPEN STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY IN ATLANTA

Woodland Hills, CA, December 1, 2010 - Panavision, the worldwide market leader in the design, manufacture and rental of camera systems for production of motion pictures, television series and commercials, is slated to open a new facility in Atlanta, in February 2011.

The service we provide to our customers is what makes us successful. With the growth of a regional market such as Atlanta, it only makes sense for Panavision to be there with a full-service facility. Our customers will have local access to the equipment and customer support that they have come to expect over the years, said John Schrimpf, VP, US Regional Operations.

The 10,000-square-foot facility, located in west midtown Atlanta, is designed to accommodate a full-service camera rental office with a wide array of digital and film cameras, including 35mm and 16mm, HD 35 and 2/3 inch. The office will be managed locally by Ann Somogye DeGuire, General Manager, Panavision Atlanta.

Atlanta has become a very attractive place to shoot because of the variety of locations, its strong infrastructure and its excellent distribution system with HartsfieldJackson Atlanta International Airport. Both the state and city of Atlanta are totally behind building a lasting, film friendly' culture and Panavision is pleased to be part of the team providing local customer support, he said.

With the opening of Panavision's new full-service facility, Georgia continues to provide an unbeatable combination of state-of-the-art industry infrastructure; targeted financial incentives; a deep, talented and professional workforce; diverse and easy to access locations; and supportive communities across the state.

In recent months, Panavision has supplied equipment on two of the biggest cable shows, AMC's The Walking Dead, shot by David Boyd, ASC and Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva, shot by David A. Makin and Jules Labarthe; the feature indie Get Low, lensed by Boyd; Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls, shot by Alexander Gruszynski, ASC and Lottery Ticket, shot by Patrick Cady. Panavision is currently providing equipment for Universal's Wanderlust, lensed by cinematographer Michael Bonvillain, ASC and the television series The Game, lensed by Bruce Finn.
