Pop singer-songwriter Taylor Swift's latest album Midnights has sold 1.5 Million copies in first week and has dominated the Billboard Hot 100 list.
--
Hollywood Unlocked says this is happening for the first time in history but this is not the only thing happening with Taylor's latest album.
Midnights continues to subjugate iTunes and Spotify charts. Furthermore, the first-week sales of Taylor's newest project make her the only artist in history to sell at least a million copies in a single week on five different occasions (five albums), explains the publication.

TAYLOR GARNERS 545 MILLION STREAMS The Red singer has also secured herself the third-largest streaming week for an album, accumulating over 545 million streams in its first seven days after release. While some would argue that people don't buy albums the way that they used to, Taylor's fans would clearly disagree.
Hollywood Unlocked did however mention that this album has not been without drama.
The former country singer did receive a lot of backlash after releasing the music video for her song, Anti-Hero,' which initially included a scene where Swift stands on a weighing scale as she watched the scale move upwards to the word fat,'

Social media users pleaded with Taylor to edit the video.
Some even called the scene triggering and said that she was fat-shaming her fans who may struggle with eating disorders.
The following day, Apple Music and YouTube both redacted the video and replaced it with an edited version that had taken out the offensive word, said the publication.

I AM GLAD SHE DID THIS' Tweeps immediately saw the change and applauded Taylor for listening to their suggestion.
After being labeled as fatphobic by people online, Taylor Swift's Anti-Hero' music video has been edited on Apple Music to remove scene which shows her stepping on a bathroom scale that reads fat. pic.twitter.com/Lkk9ZBCSB5

I'm glad Taylor Swift removed the shot of the scale reading fat.' Yes, it's about her eating disorder and body dysmorphia, but they're both rooted in fatphobia. She has a greater responsibility to her audience not to be fatphobic in recovery because she knows how toxic that is!, said @molliekatie.
Taylor changed her Anti-Hero' music video on apple music and it doesn't directly show the word [fat] on the scale. so glad she listened to criticism, said @iwantyourbelly.
Other tweeps felt that Taylor should not have been forced to remove the fat' reading in her video as it spoke to some of her fans as well.

I'm really upset about the Anti-Hero music video being edited. It was clearly art that spoke to so many of us. And I feel so bad that Taylor felt bad enough that she felt like she had to change it. I hope she knows we appreciate her art and accept her struggles without judgement

The reason why Taylor changing her anti hero music video scale clip makes me rage is because she shouldn t have to censor her art because it doesnt fit everyones narrative or experience. I make work about fear of food / anorexia, and am now trying to unlearn that weight isnt pic.twitter.com/NGa0a7Ekin

the scale scene of anti-hero mv has been edited on apple music. this is actually so sad because taylor definitely saw all the people not caring about her OWN experience with her OWN body. pic.twitter.com/ou0MbzOJ7s

i really do not like that they changed the anti-hero music video. i know its a triggering topic but first releasing it like this and THEN editing it out is much more triggering tbh. because it shows that we as a society still cannot openly talk about it.
