Talented TV presenter Katlego Maboe has been announced as the host of SABC1's latest game show Deal or No Deal South Africa.

SABC CONFIRMS KATLEGO MABOE NEW GIG The S3's Expresso presenter Katlego Maboe has been selected to host the revival of Deal or No Deal South Africa on SABC 1 from 6 March.

SABC's head of local content Lala Tuku revealed to Sowetan in a statement: We are delighted to offer this exhilarating, upbeat show to our audiences. While we will be using the winning format that has seen Deal or No Deal become a global broadcasting phenomenon, the show will feature new innovations and be distinctively South African.

Tuku added that they are delighted to have the popular Katlego Maboe as the host of South Africa's Deal or No Deal.

The show is a thrilling, once-in-a-lifetime game of chance where contestants select one of 20 sealed boxes. Each box contains a cash amount, ranging from R1 to R250,000.
