What is Skeleton's Junior Animator of The Year Competition?
In search of creatives looking to kickstart their motion graphic design careers, leading UK video production agency Skeleton has announced their Junior Animator of the Year competition. Submissions are open from September 2022 to January 2023 and the winner will be announced in February 2023.
What do I win?
By entering your work, you'll be in with a chance to win a two-week PAID internship with Skeleton's award-winning team in the Easter break of 2023, with the possibility of landing a junior role within their in-house team. This two-week internship will be 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday and will be paid at £9.50 per hour.
There will be one winner picked for the internship and 10 runners up who will be featured on a reel showcasing their works, which will be posted across our channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and on our website.
Who can enter?
This award is open to UK students and ambitious creatives looking to get their foot in the door of the motion graphic design and animation industry. You must be living in the UK and able to work in the UK in 2022 and 2023 to be eligible to win.
What do I have to do?
Skeleton is looking for innovative pieces that showcase your animation style while demonstrating you can follow a brief. As such, there is a brief being released in September 2022 to those who register here.
Skeleton want to see original design works, never published, sold or produced in the market. They're looking for originality, creativity, and a taste of who you are.

Please visit Skeleton's website and register via this form. By registering, you'll receive an email with the full competition brief and a link to a submission form. It's free to enter and you can enter as many times as you'd like. Submissions will close on January 1st 2023.
