On October 1, ESPN will venture into another chapter of the alternate live broadcast when it streams Toy Story Funday Football, a kids-focused alternate presentation of the NFL International Series game between the Atlanta Falcons (Disney+, ESPN+, NFL+). From Prime Video's Dude Perfect companion broadcasts during Thursday Night Football to ESPN's CFP Megacast and the Sports-Emmy-winning ManningCast, alternate coverage options of the live game are all of the rage in live sports production today.

And the innovation isn't happening just at national broadcasters. Regional sports networks across the country are producing captivating alternative broadcasts of live games in an effort to draw new demographics to their properties.
