Nielsen Awarded for Excellence in Health and Wellbeing

The National Business Group on Health has named Nielsen as a Silver winner in its 2019 Best Employers: Excellence in Health & Well-Being awards.

Nielsen was recently honored along with 50 other leading U.S. employers that received this year's award at the National Business Group on Health's Workforce Strategy 2019 Conference. The award highlights employers with an exceptional commitment to improving their employees' overall well-being, productivity and quality of life.

Nielsen was specifically recognized for our innovative The Whole You program, which provides resources and incentives that enable our associates to be better health care consumers and lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

This award reflects our work to promote the health and well-being of our 46,000 associates and their families, said Maria Walsh, VP of Benefits, Nielsen. We're thrilled to receive this recognition and are committed to continuing to find innovative ways to support our associates in all aspects of our well-being pillars: Physical, Financial, Emotional, Social and Environmental.

Nielsen also received a Global Distinction Award for our work in Spain where our teams have worked tirelessly to offer unparalleled programs that positively affect the physical, psychological and emotional health, well-being and productivity of our associates and their families.

Over the past 15 years, the National Business Group on Health through the formerly named Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles and now Best Employers: Excellence in Health & Well-being awards have recognized over 180 impressive companies for their innovative programs, behavior change, and consistent results. Award winners are on the leading edge of innovation, thinking and action to address health care cost and the delivery, financing, affordability and consumer experience with the health care system.
