Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA returns for a second series on W and UKTV Play

Monday 3 July 2023 Award-winning documentary maker, Stacey Dooley MBE and UKTVs free-to-air channel W will return to explore more fascinating and unusual lifestyles of families overseas in a second series of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA (3x60). Filming for the UKTV Original series, produced by Firecracker Films, will begin later this year and will air on W and UKTV Play in 2024.

The first series of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA saw Stacey stay with Autumn - a 9-year-old GunTuber who lives with her parents in Oklahoma, Mya and Kennedy - a transgender mum and dad living in Virginia, and Cheryl and Quran - a couple from Georgia with a 37 year age gap. All three episodes and previous series are available on UKTV Play.

The brand-new series will continue to cover themes of modern relationships and family life - exploring attitudes to love, relationships, marriage, parenting and money. Further information on the families and locations that Stacey is visiting will be revealed in the coming months.

Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA has been commissioned by Emile Nawagamuwa, commissioning executive, and ordered for W by Adam Collings, channel director, and Hilary Rosen, director of commissioning. Jes Wilkins is chief creative officer for Firecracker and Alice Bowden is series director. The series will be distributed by Passion Distribution.

Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA will return to W and UKTV Play in 2024. The one-off special, Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over: Family and Me will air on W and UKTV Play this summer.
