Award-winning actress Connie Ferguson, who plays the villainous character of Harriet Khoza in The Queen hinted she's left her telenovela when she bid farewell to the Ferguson Films cast and crew on social media.

According to Kaya 959, the actress's post is accompanied by a portrait of her with farewell messages from the cast and crew of the cancelled telenovela.

Her post gave viewers the impression that her character has been written out of the show after seven years on-screen.

Kaya 959 also reveals that the thespian might have shot her final scene as Harriet Khoza.

THE QUEEN' GETS CANCELLED Fans of the actress and viewers of The Queen have sent her farewell messages since she hinted at her departure.

It's been a ride mama! Till the next one! Keep your head up.

IOL reports that M-Net pulled the plug on the show after seven years and the show will conclude in January 2023.

The channel said the strategies for Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) have been revised to keep abreast with changing audience preferences and the evolving competitor landscape.

The Queen will premiere its finale 7th season in July 2022 and conclude on January 13, 2023.
