Black Box will present KVM solutions for cloud and AV IBC 2017-centered management With these new solutions, Black Box aims to help professionals in the broadcast to supply content and distribute signals for direct transmission and post-production through proprietary networks and via IP.
Black Box It will present in IBC 2017 KVM solutions of high-performance audio, video over IP and videowall solutions that offer reliable signal distribution and management of networks for live broadcast (transmissions live and virtualized reproduction), as well as technology improves post-production workflows.
With these new solutions, Black Box aims to help professionals in the broadcast to supply content and distribute signals for direct transmission and post-production through proprietary networks and via IP.
John Hickey, director Senior of r & d and systems in Black Box KVM, recognizes that "the professionals want to use an economic and flexible environment that requires production of type cloud and virtualized server infrastructures. Manage this, as well as having higher security requirements to prevent fraudulent intrusions in IP infrastructure, and copies imposes them many pressures from an operational perspective".
"Our powerful KVM solutions, such as InvisaPC and Boxilla management platform, help customers to develop effective and efficient operations from the point of view of the acquisition of content to playback", Hickey added.
Distribution and control in broadcast environments
The solutions that Black Box will display in Amsterdam allow reliable signal for live broadcast distribution and control. Technology switching and secure and reliable KVM extension for physical and virtual servers enables the physical separation between server and user stations.
Their proposals also allow for the distribution of audio, HD video signals and peripherals via IP network in critical environments such as master control (MCR) and production studios. On the other hand, KVM switching and facilities simplify the acquisition of content and its emissions through efficient management and distribution of signals of audio and video peripherals at all stages of the broadcast workflow.
As an example in this range of solutions is InvisaPC, a KVM system based only on IP that covers the differences between the extension and IP-based KVM switching and access to virtual machines, providing remote access to physical or virtualized CPU real time.
On the other hand, in its stand it will display the possibilities of Boxilla. This management platform KVM and centralized AV, which will have its first integration, InvisaPC, allows users to centrally manage access rights, configure endpoints, assign bandwidth to devices and monitor network activity, all through a secure local network or even over the Internet.
In order to control several KVM systems, Black Box has ControlBridge, a control system with touch screen that offers custom user interfaces to control various KVM systems and systems of automation of rooms in control centres.
Especially suitable for television studios, also excels in the portfolio of solutions of Black Box video wall processor Radian. Their modular design facilitates the disposition of canvas multi screen of any size or geometry for broadcast control rooms and includes support for all common video interfaces, transmission of IP video and various video walls.
The video wall processor radio allows you to compose multiple videowalls with up to 64 displays of any size and is designed to carry out a quick switch and 24/7 operations. Drag and drop content from hundreds of different sources (DVI, HDMI, IP...) in any part of the videowall, in real time. Chassis-based system supports 4K and is compatible with Ultra high definition screens.
Post-production
The modular matrix changeover that provides the 4 K 60 DKM offers another solution to improve workflows in post production environments. This array of high-performance KVM switching connects hundreds of workstations and servers, and provides access in real time to video with resolution up to 4K 60, audio and peripherals signals. It is a connectivity solution ideal for broadcast of high performance applications, such as the graduation of color, video editing and audio production.
