Tia Fuller Presents Ariana Grande and Micki Miller Tribute Show March 7

Berklee's Ariana Grande and Micki Miller ensembles will host a Signature Series performance honoring the pop and R&B artists on Thursday, March 7, at the Berklee Performance Center. The Ariana Grande and Micki Miller Tribute Show will be directed by Grammy-nominated professor Tia Fuller, a critically acclaimed saxophonist who has performed with Beyonc , Aretha Franklin, Jay-Z, Jill Scott, Patti LaBelle, and Erykah Badu, among others.

A fully choreographed production, the show will feature instrumentalists, vocalists, and dancers from Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. The groups will perform popular hits by both artists, including God Is a Woman, Side to Side, and Diamonds. Grande is one of the world's most accomplished pop artists at the moment; she most recently won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album for her 2018 release, Sweetener. In 2016, she was listed as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time, and she was recently named Woman of the Year by Billboard. Miller is an acclaimed musician, producer, songwriter, and singer; she is known for releasing brilliant mixtapes consisting of soul, R&B, gospel, and hip-hop music. Miller dropped her first EP in 2013 and will release an album later this year.

Fuller previously directed two sold-out Signature Series performances, one with her Beyonc Ensemble and Beyonc 's original all-female band in March 2017, and another with the Bruno Mars Ensemble in February 2018.

I am excited to showcase two fantastic ensembles for another incredible concert, said Fuller. Ariana Grandes voice resonates the sound of pop music today, while Micki Miller resounds as a multitalented instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer who spans genres in R&B, gospel, and beyond. In celebration of Women's History Month, this concert is a platform to explore themes on individual versus collective empowerment and racial equity. What a thrill it is to honor two of many powerful and inspirational women in the music industry today.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 on the day of the performance, and are available online and at the Berklee Performance Center box office.
