Berklee Brings Live Music to the Head of the Charles Student artists will perform on multiple riverfront stages during the 60th anniversary of the world's largest rowing event.

Berklee is partnering with the Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR) to bring live student performances to the world's largest rowing event.

The 2025 regatta, celebrating its 60th anniversary, will feature Berklee musicians performing throughout race weekend, October 18-19, at multiple venues along the Charles River.

The lineup highlights the breadth and creativity of Berklee's student artists, spanning pop, R&B, folk, electronic, and dance music. Audiences can expect a range of styles, from dreamcorp.'s genre-blending electronic soundscapes and DJ EL3NA's hypnotic deep-house grooves to Macy Brassell's lyrical pop and Rijah's jazz-inspired R&B. Rowan Grace brings an uplifting pop energy with songs that connect deeply with listeners, while Skye & Jo deliver powerful harmonies and storytelling rooted in folk and alternative traditions.

Performances will take place Saturday and Sunday, October 18-19, at two of the event's most popular spectator destinations: the Riverbender hospitality zone, by the Anderson Memorial Bridge, and the Finish Area Launch Site (FALS) Bar, near the finish line and awards area. Berklee's Riverfront Band will also headline the HOCR Birthday Bash on Saturday evening, performing a 1960s-inspired set to mark the regatta's 60th anniversary. The FALS Bar performances are free and open to the public. Tickets for the Birthday Bash and the Riverbender performances are on sale now.

Boston in October is electric, and the Head of the Charles captures that energy like nothing else, said Berklee President Jim Lucchese. We're thrilled for our students to be part of this year's milestone celebration, bringing the music, the joy, and the creative spirit that Berklee is all about to one of the city's favorite weekends.
