NetApp Honored with Telly Award for Second Consecutive Year SUNNYVALE, Calif.-July 7, 2010- NetApps (NASDAQ: NTAP) Social Media Team was honored with a bronze Telly Award for its production of the viral video Extreme Makeover: Data Center Edition. This marks the second consecutive year that NetApp has been recognized for its innovative and creative use of multimedia and video.

The Telly Award is a great achievement for our Social Media Team and is a testament to their hard work and creativity in the integration of video and social marketing, said Christine Heckart, chief marketing officer for NetApp. With NetApps accelerated growth, social media has become an integral component of our overall marketing strategy that allows us to reach a wider audience with dynamic content. Extreme Makeover: Data Center Edition is a viral video that parodies the popular television show by focusing on a fictional group of NetApp employees who overhaul an old data center in one day. Highlighting NetApps storage efficiency, virtualization, and green technologies, the characters detail how NetApp is able to deliver the best solutions for its customers. The video was created to build and increase awareness of NetApps unique solutions and technologies and to increase viewership of the NetApp YouTube channel, NetAppTV.
