AMAZON S LOVEFiLM INSTANT APP NOW AVAILABLE FOR IPHONE AND IPOD TOUCH CUSTOMERS IN the UK

LOVEFiLM, an Amazon company, today announced the launch of its new LOVEFiLM Instant app for iPhone and iPod touch. This enhanced app allows members in the UK to stream the latest and greatest films and TV series from the LOVEFiLM Instant catalogue on their iPhone and iPod touch for the first time.

Along with a slick new design, the updated app also features the popular Watchlist function, which lets users quickly find titles they have added from other devices, as well as add titles from their iPhone and iPod touch to watch later on other LOVEFiLM compatible platforms, making the viewing experience truly uninterrupted.

AirPlay support has also been introduced into the enhanced app, allowing film and TV fans to wirelessly stream the latest and greatest entertainment from their mobile device directly to the big screen using Apple TV. Customers then have the ability to minimize the app whilst they continue to playback via Airplay.

Members can now access TV and movie collections instantly from the redesigned homepage, making it faster and easier to find new releases, browse a particular genre, or check out the specialist collections from IMDb.

TV fans will find their favourite shows available at the click of a button, with a dropdown menu on the homepage offering links to popular and recently added series.

LOVEFiLM members can also access the wealth of information available from sister site IMDb throughout the app, with star ratings, actor and director lists, goofs, trivia and quotes all available at the touch of a button. Recommended videos based on what other customers have viewed are also included, making great content easier to get hold of than ever before.
