The Eagles spurned a penalty and hit the woodwork before tumbling to a 2-0 defeat against Everton in the dying minutes at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Palace are without a win in four following a creditable start to the season, sitting just two points above the relegation zone in 15th.
Now they must face the on-fire Gunners, with victory increasingly important to stop the rot south of the River Thames.
