KX7 In-Wall Touchpanel
The KX7 in-wall color LCD touchpanel provides complete, customized control over a homes entertainment, environmental, and security systems. Sporting a 7-inch, 800x480 WVGA LCD with a multitouch capacitive touchscreen, the units control interface is fully customizable via RTIs Integration Designer software. The KX7 displays crystal-clear composite, S-video, or component video inputs at resolutions up to 576p. A slim profile and sophisticated design conceals the amazing features of this unit, such as wired 10/100Base-T and wireless 802.11 Ethernet connections providing two-way control and feedback, access to Web pages, video from network security cameras, and convenient programming.
The KX7 is unique in providing a self-contained control system to lower costs. A high-output IR port provides direct control of multiple devices from up to 1,000 feet away, while a two-way RS-232 port runs RTIs one-way and two-way control drivers without the need for a separate control processor. The touchpanels low-profile faceplate is available in a variety of colors to match any d cor, and integrated mounting wings help provide easy installation.
SURFiR Companion Remote
Representing a revolutionary new concept in control, RTIs SURFiR is a low-cost companion remote designed for use with an iPad , iPhone , iPod touch , or Android device running the RTiPanel app. Providing an affordable alternative to dedicated touchpanel controllers, the SURFiR allows users to incorporate their Apple and Android touchscreen devices as the graphical interface for their control system, while adding the convenience of instant on, tactile control with hard buttons, and eliminating the numerous screen swipes needed for control tasks that require frequent interaction. In addition, SURFiR conveniently keeps track of the device that is being controlled by the smartphone or tablet. This allows users to multitask on their mobile device - checking emails, reading news feeds, and accessing social media apps - while maintaining convenient and intuitive control over their home electronic system. A stylish handheld remote sporting a contemporary look and feel, the SURFiR can be used with any of RTIs XP control processors. The controller requires minimal programming for integrators, lowering overall installation costs and making it simple to integrate into any system.
ESC-2 Ethernet to Serial Converter
The ESC-2 Ethernet to Serial Converter allows installers to expand the capabilities of any RTI XP series control processor conveniently by adding two additional bidirectional serial ports over Ethernet. The unit works seamlessly within RTIs award-winning Integration Designer programming software for quick and simple setup, and multiple modules can be utilized for virtually unlimited control of serial devices. Two RJ-45 jacks allow standard Cat 5 cabling to be used between the converter and the device being controlled. The ESC-2 is then connected to the local Ethernet network with a standard Cat 5 cable for full two-way control, as if the device were wired directly to the control processor.
RKM-1 Multiroom Audio Keypad
RTIs RKM-1 multiroom audio keypad offers integrators a simple and flexible solution for multiroom audio control. For seamless integration, the keypad is sized for a single gang electrical box, and is designed for flush-mount installations anywhere the user wants to enjoy their music. Allowing devices up to 1,000 feet away to be controlled via an infrared output port, integrators are free to install the RKM-1 in almost any location in a home. For intuitive control, the RKM-1 features eight fully-programmable hard buttons, while a customizable LED display provides feedback on power status, selected source, and volume level. As an additional benefit, the RKM-1 offers new faceplate covers and custom-engraved buttons.
KX2 In-Wall Controller
The KX2 in-wall controllers elegant design maintains the perfect balance between programmable hard buttons and display size. At 3.5 inches, the LCD is small enough to blend into any environment, yet provide the resolution necessary for displaying custom buttons, text, and graphics. When approached by an end user, a proximity sensor automatically brings the unit to life. From there, the KX2s infrared output port provides direct control of almost any A/V component or lighting system from up to 1,000 feet away. The controllers 12 hard buttons and graphic interface are fully programmable using RTIs Integration Designer software, making it easy for installers to provide their clients with a simple, intuitive control experience. KX2s integrated 10/100Base-T Ethernet port with Power-over-Ethernet provides the flexibility to accommodate any installation.
Available with gloss white, light almond, or black faceplate and buttons, the KX2 can be used as a stand-alone device or as part of an expandable central control system. When used with the available RTI accessory devices, the unit is capable of infrared routing, relay control, power sensing, and advanced two-way communications via Ethernet and RS-232.
