MOG provides shared storage and quick editing in an ultra-compact solution Included in just 24 centimeters deep chassis new MOG solution reduces the time of access to content stored (up to 60 TB) in a fully collaborative environment between different editorial and creative teams.

MOG announced Monday the availability of its new solution of shared storage and quick editing in an ultra-compact solution designed for broadcasters and postproduction.

Production work flows are becoming increasingly complex. The step file-based environments, and the emergence of resolutions 4K and above, together with the impact of the migration to cloud-based technologies are changing production scenarios and forcing the adoption of advanced storage, yet affordable systems.

Conscious of this, MOG now has launched a storage solution with fast video editing housed in a compact team with just 24 centimeters deep chassis. MOG has reduced the time of access to the content stored in an environment fully collaborative among them equipment editorial and professional creative.

MOG dedicated hardware uses Enterprise Class of solid state (SSD) drives that provide quick access to the content, and allows the working groups perform several tasks shared as edit, process and transcode simultaneously. Users thus benefit from connecting to a network 2 Ethernet x 10 Gb including redundancy for OS and an array Enterprise RAID to avoid data loss.

Shared storage capacity to 60 TB of capacity on SSD can be integrated with Central intake of MOG Solutions. This flexible solution adapts to a variety of workflows according to the needs of the user. Both for intake SD as HD-SDI of band base or flows of work based in files, the edition of video on storage shared of MOG allows to them users perform operations, including the reproduction of media directly from the storage, the processing of the captures, it transcoding on the March, the management of metadata or the forming of clips in high resolution , among other operations.
