Hannibal Takes a Bite Out of ursday Nights Beginning April 4 on City

TORONTO (February 26, 2013) City invites viewers to have an old friend for dinner when sinister new series Hannibal bleeds onto City's mid-season lineup Thursday nights at 10 p.m. ET/PT starting April 4 (check local listings.) Giving new meaning to the question what's for dinner?, Brian Fuller's (Heroes, Pushing Daisies) one-hour drama breathes new life into the deadly classic from author Thomas Harris bringing psychiatrist-turned-serial-killer Dr. Hannibal Lecter to the small screen for the first time. Hannibal will be available post-broadcast online at Citytv.com and Rogers Anyplace TV.

Before Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon, Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) was a brilliant psychiatrist in the employ of the FBI. His task: to help an unusually gifted criminal profiler, Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), who is haunted by his ability to see into the minds of serial killers. In the premiere episode, Aperitif, Will threatens to walk away from the FBI after a particularly gruelling case hunting a serial killer known as the Minnesota Shrike. Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne), the head of the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit, desperately needs Will on his team to break the tough cases, so he enlists the help Dr. Hannibal Lecter to counsel Will . But as Will hunts down brutal killers, he is unknowingly sitting across from the most gifted killer of them all.

Taking a more traditional look at cuisine, City serves up Season 11 of Hell's Kitchen Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT beginning March 12 (check local listings). In the premiere episode, the 20 competing chefs are surprised with a trip to Las Vegas. Once they arrive in Sin City, Chef Ramsay reveals they will be competing to win the coveted title of head chef in his new restaurant in Caesar's Palace, Gordon Ramsay's Pub and Grill. In the first challenge, contestants are split into two teams the losing team will have to ride in a school bus back to Los Angeles while the winning team will be rewarded with the full VIP treatment, including a meet-and-greet with Grammy Award-winning Canadian singer Celine Dion. Later, the chefs begin to prepare for their first dinner service in the flaming hot fires of Hell's Kitchen.

Adding some laughs to the weekday lineup, new half-hour comedy series How to Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life) joins the schedule Wednesday nights at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT starting April 3 (check local listings). Following her divorce and the economic downturn, single mom Polly (Canadian actor Sarah Chalke, Scrubs) and her daughter Natalie (Rachel Eggleston) are forced to move back home with her eccentric parents, Elaine (Elizabeth Perkins, Weeds) and Max (Brad Garrett, Everybody Loves Raymond). With a little help from her parents, her best friend Gregg (Orlando Jones, Rules of Engagement), her lovable yet irresponsible ex-husband Julian (Canadian actor Jon Dore, The Jon Dore Show), Polly takes her first steps toward getting a new life, starting with a social one.

How to Live With Your Parents (For The Rest of Your Life), Hannibal and Hell's Kitchen join City's roster of hit programming including all-new episodes of fan-favourite series Revenge on Sunday, Mar. 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings), with a special episode directed by Oscar Award winner Helen Hunt (The Sessions). Then, new episodes of hit post-apocalyptic adventure series Revolution light up City's Monday nights starting March 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings).
