Bonn, January 8, 2013. Apprentices at the Bonn site have launched a donation campaign for the benefit of the Kinderkrebsklinik Bonn (Bonn Pediatric Oncology Clinic) in the scope of converting the training workshop of the SGL Group The Carbon Company.

Apprentices had the idea of refurbishing used tools from their training workshop which they no longer need in order to turn them in in exchange for a donation to Bonn employees.

This donation campaign brought in a respectable sum of 1,100, which was transferred to the Frderkreis fr krebskranke Kinder und Jugendliche Bonn e.V.

SGL Group apprentices in Bonn have already been supporting the Frderkreis fr krebskranke Kinder und Jugendliche Bonn e.V. with their own donation campaigns since the year 2000.
