Grammy-nominated rapper Nicki Minaj is one of the fiercest hip-hop stars in the music industry. The Moment 4 Life hitmaker stunned her fans with the first trailer of her upcoming documentary, Nicki, on Thursday 28 July. In the trailer, Minaj addresses the double standards that women have faced in the music industry over the years.

NICKI' FIRST-LOOK TRAILER Nicki Minaj kicked off her career in 2007 and since has risen to become one of the world's biggest rappers. With incredible singles like Only, Starships and Super Bass, Minaj is a force to be reckoned with.
The 39-year-old's trailer for her upcoming six-part documentary opens with footage from her early rap days. Minaj also addresses the difficulties of female rappers in the music industry.

I think we just don't get the respect that men do. You constantly feel like you're doing something wrong and so you just stop doing, period. This industry is just not a loving, supporting place. It pretends sometimes, but it's just not.
The release date for Nicki is yet to be announced.
