Today, Maxis refreshed its existing Home Wireless Internet offering with a new 21Mbps Home WiFi modem to provide customers with a superior and enhanced online experience. With faster internet speeds, customers will be able to enjoy uninterrupted HD video streaming, and upload or download large files at more than twice the speeds previously enjoyed.
The new 21Mbps Home WiFi modem is easy to set up with plug-and-play convenience and allows multiple users to go online simultaneously.
Ebru Dorman, Head of Maxis Home and Broadband said, The 21Mbps Home WiFi modem, which is available for free with 20GB, 28GB and 48GB Maxis Home Wireless Internet packages, will provide users with a truly enhanced experience with faster connectivity. The way we consume information is evolving because increasingly more content is available today in high definition video formats instead of simple web pages.
This makes fast, reliable and affordable internet speeds essential and Maxis is ready to meet that need.
The Home Wireless Internet plans also offer the best range of internet quotas and rates to suit different needs and lifestyles. With the fastest and widest network coverage in the country, anyone can enjoy the speed and reliability of the Maxis network, added Ebru.
Existing Home Wireless Internet users who wish to enjoy enhanced user experience with the new 21Mbps Home WiFi modem can visit their nearest Maxis Centre to upgrade to the new modem, concluded Ebru.
Maxis great value-for-money Home Wireless Internet plans include a 3GB plan at only RM59 per month and 8GB plan at RM79 per month, which come with free 100 voice minutes and free 7.2Mbps Home WiFi modem and DECT phone worth RM380. For those who prefer higher speeds and larger quotas, the 20GB plan at RM99 per month, 28GB plan at RM139 per month and 48GB plan at RM169 per month come with free 200 to 300 voice minutes and free 21Mbps Home WiFi modem and DECT phone worth RM580. The free allocated minutes are to fixed and mobile numbers nationwide. Subsequent calls are charged at only 10 sen per minute for calls nationwide. Maxis Postpaid subscribers will enjoy a RM10 monthly discount on the 28GB or 48GB plans and pay only RM129 per month or RM159 per month respectively
Maxis Home Wireless Internet service is available nationwide and is part of its suite of Home Services, which provide high-speed wireless and fibre internet services. With its Home Fibre Internet service, currently available to 1.3 million homes and offices, and its fixed and on-the-go Wireless Internet service with 82 percent population coverage, Maxis offers reliable and fast internet access to over 5 million homes in Malaysia.
