The management of the Big Brother Mzansi contestant Rethabile Dinky Bliss Potsane has seeked to clarify speculations that her cause of death was suicide.

In a statement released via entertainment commentator Kgopolo Phil Mphela, her management confirmed that she suffered from depression, but claims that mental illness was not a factor in the cause of death.

DINKY BLISS: MANAGER SPEAKS OUT I can 100% confirm that she [Dinky] did not commit suicide nor [that] she passed away due to depression. Details of the cause of her death will be released as soon as the doctors get back with the test results, the statement read.

Phil has been tweeting about Dinky and has expressed how she loved getting attention.

COMPLAINED OF A FEVER' Heshu spoke to Zimoja on behalf of the family and said that Dinky complained of a fever.

This happened so suddenly. She was fine and only complained of a fever On Friday [Dinky] had a mild fever. Saturday, it became worse until her neighbours suggested they take her to the doctor, he explained.

She was with her two-year-old son in her apartment in Kempton Park. We didn't think it was anything serious, it was like any other fever with coughing and headaches, Bukhosi added.

The neighbours also have kids, so they took him he was playing with other kids, and they distracted him while taking her to the clinic, the publication said.
