When the NBA makes its debut on Prime Video in a few weeks, the streamer in its first year of a new, 11-year global media rights deal will roll out a wide-ranging lineup of interactive features and AI-powered tools includes live stat overlays, personalized bet tracking, a customizable multiview, live shopping, and catch-up highlight packages.

Since Day 1, we've challenged ourselves to invent features that heighten, customize and add storytelling elements for fans within the live sports experience, said Jay Marine, Head of Prime Video U.S., Global Sports & Advertising. As we tip off this long-term relationship with the NBA, we're excited to launch a best-in-class bet tracking experience with FanDuel, as well as a wide-ranging suite of broadcast innovations to enhance Prime Video's comprehensive NBA offerings. As we've demonstrated through our coverage of Thursday Night Football and NASCAR, our innovation teams are continuously raising the bar and exploring what is possible within our produced coverage and add-on subscriptions.

Broadcast Innovation at the CoreThe NBA makes its regular season debut on Prime Video on October 24 with a slate of 67 regular season games to follow. Prime is also home to the entire Emirates NBA Cup Knockout Rounds, and select postseason matchups - including a Conference Finals in six of the next 11 years.

Every NBA on Prime game will be delivered in native 1080p High Dynamic Range (HDR) with 5.1 surround sound. The coverage leverages Amazon Web Services (AWS) technology to enable proprietary ultra-low-latency streaming. That workflow eliminates drift, ensures synchronization across devices, and offers a stream speed on par with - and often faster than - traditional linear television.

Users will be able to build their own multiview within Prime Video's app.

Customizable Multiview and AI-Powered HighlightsAmong the most anticipated features is fully-customizable Multiview. Unlike traditional streaming packages that restrict fans to pre-set game combinations, Prime's version allows viewers to design their own layout: select which matchups to follow, prioritize one game in the larger window, and resize supporting feeds on the fly.

Artificial intelligence also takes a lead role. The Key Moments feature automatically identifies pivotal plays in real time - from posterizing dunks to momentum-changing threes - and makes them instantly accessible. For late arrivals, Rapid Recap builds a personalized highlight reel in under two minutes and drops the viewer seamlessly into live action once it concludes.

In the live game environment, users can toggle on live stat overlays.

Stats, Shopping, and Second ScreensData visualization has become table stakes for modern sports streaming, and Prime is leaning in with real-time stat feeds. Fans can access box scores and advanced analytics powered by AWS without ever leaving the broadcast.

Another new wrinkle is Shop the Game, which brings Amazon's e-commerce muscle directly into the stream. Viewers can shop NBA merchandise, apparel, and gameday gear through the Prime Video interface or the Amazon Shopping app - all while keeping the action on screen.

Prime Video has struck a live betting tracking feature in partnership with FanDuel.

Betting Integration With GuardrailsPrime is also debuting an opt-in personalized bet tracking experience with FanDuel. Once a user links their FanDuel account, active wagers and outcomes are surfaced directly in the broadcast. An immersive Odds View mode adds live lines, props, and probabilities for those seeking deeper betting context. Importantly, all betting features are optional and framed around responsible gaming principles.
