Colour-coded visualisation shows damage risk at a glance
Multi-core processing for super-fast iteration
Enhanced menu for instant access to relevant files
Existing rail tracks now included in utility damage
Option for staged analysis predicts and animates progressive risk as underground works proceed
Engineer and stakeholder appetite for building and utility damage assessment in densely populated areas have been whetted by the techniques pioneering use on major infrastructure projects across the United Kingdom. Now, with the release of Oasys XDisp 20.0, the information damage assessment delivers is readily available and cost effective for any project.
XDisp 20.0 presents and analyses the location and severity of damage that can be expected, rating it from Category 0 (negligible) to Category 5 (severe) through intuitive colour-coding of the visual output the programme generates. The site and magnitude of a potential problem is immediately obvious, even on a large project involving multiple buildings and underground services, and work can immediately be focused on mitigation.
Usability enhancements include the development of a straightforward menu to relevant charts and tabular data, at any stage of construction along any displacement line, saving countless hours of an engineers time. Then, with multi-core processing, proposed solutions are quickly and easily checked. The ability to generate JSON files further automates and speeds up engineering workflow.
Combining and Animating Construction Stages One of the headline features of the new release is the analysis of potentially-unlimited number of stages of construction using a single model. The resultant animation shows clearly how the risk of damage will change for each building, rail, and utility section over time as work progresses. The same rapid access to underlying files, enables engineers to go straight to the data they need to resolve issues and then test their solutions. The Staged Construction feature is only available in the newly introduced XDisp Pro variation.
XDisp Pro includes additional functionality that has been proven to save an engineer and their team countless hours of development time. It removes the daunting workload that comes with larger infrastructure projects. Existing users of XDisp are eligible to try XDisp Pro for the remainder of their maintenance contract, with an option to upgrade at the end of it. If you are new to XDisp, request a trial from the product page.
