REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: Audit Firm for the South African Film and Television Awards

The Appointment of an Audit Firm to provide Auditing Service for The South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA's) on behalf of the National Film and Video Foundation.

1. Introduction

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) is an agency of the Department of Arts and Culture that was created to ensure the equitable growth of South Africas film and video industry. We do this by providing funding for the development, production, marketing and distribution of films and also the training and development of filmmakers.

In addition, the NFVF commissions research and produces industry statistics that provide both the public and stakeholders with valuable insights into the South African film industry.

2. Background

The South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAS), also known as the Golden Horns, are annual awards for the film and television industries in the Republic of South Africa and are organised by the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF).

3. Scope of work

NFVF is looking for an Auditing firm to assist with the judging phase for SAFTA's (South African Film and Television Awards) focusing on but not limited to the following key areas

Phase 1- verification of entries

Verification of Entries

Report

Meeting

Phase 2-Judging

Filtration of results

Meetings

Report

Finalisation

Final Factual Findings Report

Attendance of Event

Functionality evaluation criteria

Bidders need to reach a minimum of 80 points to qualify to the next stage of evaluations (price and B-BBEE).

Provide a complete organogram including the CV's of key staff that will be assigned to the project including their defined roles and responsibility. CV's to include qualifications and relevant experiences.

Technical Approach and Execution Plan

Proposals must contain the details of the proposed approach to be adopted in order to deliver the service in accordance with the TOR
