Capitol Broadcasting divisions showed their love for the NC State Wolfpack in a big way last Friday, April 5, 2024. As both the men's and women's basketball teams approached their NCAA Final Four games, CBC TV and radio pulled out all the stops to celebrate the Pack's historic run.
MIX MORNINGS LIVE FROM NC STATE
Kyle, Bryan and Sarah broadcast their MIX Mornings radio show live from Talley Student Union in the heart of NC State's campus on Friday morning from 7-10am. Students and listeners from the broader community showed up to cheer and show their love for the Pack!

THAT STATION BACKS THE PACK
Music curators from That Station kicked off the Wolfpack Weekend playing a full hour of music with just bands from Raleigh. The local music mix hour, That Station Backs the Pack, played on 5pm.
CHEERING FOR THE WEATHER
WRAL-TV Meteorologist Kat Campbell harkened back to her cheerleading roots and practiced a few stunts with the NC State Cheer Team for the weather forecast for the Final Four. The NC State alum proudly supported her school all through the season. (And btw, the Cheer Team competes in their Nationals this weekend. Go Pack!)
TURNING THE WRAL GARDENS RED
WRAL-TV invited viewers to Turn the Garden Red on Friday from noon-6:30pm. Carnival games, vendors, giveaways, a fun photo backdrop and more highlighted the impromptu event. Wolfpack fans showed up wearing their red best.
