TV Series 2016 again with the wireless camera technology
Immer wieder sonntags is the title of the well beloved music show, transmitted live from the Europa Park in Rust by SWR-TV for many years. Again, HDwireless was retained for the transmission of the 2016 summer season's TV-broadcast by means of the wireless camera. In fact, this is the seventh time already. Patrick Nussbaum, Manager of HDwireless confirms: In 2009 there was a strong desire for a notably more variable use of the steadicam within the setup of the IWS-TV Arena. In search for a dependable technical solution the client then decided in favor of the wireless camera technique offered by us .
The definition of the task included transmission with a minimum of latency together with the most stable quality, as well as the accurate integration into the existing surroundings of the OB-truck. This also included connecting camera control with the available network. The change to the radio supported system produced very flexible and novel scopes of design for this quite cheerful and diversified entertainment format. During the years transmission was supplemented by an additional wireless system for a handheld camera.
This resulted in even more variable perspectives for the live camera transmission. Ultimately, the HDwireless RFiber-system connection of the RF-cable signals was expanded by using a glass fiber line. The complete setup is clearly designed for the needs of SWR-TV, and it presents a very stable and dependable solution, Patrick Nussbaum added. His company is responsible for the wireless technology on both rehearsal and show days. The cooperation with the staff of HDwireless for the live TV-production of Immer wieder sonntags stands out for its profound professionalism and dependability the production chief Ralf-Peter Wandura of S dwestrundfunk (SWR) sums up.
