EBS SUPPLIES EPG DATA FOR ARIRANG TVS NEW UK HD CHANNEL ON SKY

EBS, the leading full-service provider of EPG data for platforms and channels worldwide, has announced that it is supplying EPG data via its unique Pawa scheduling application directly to Sky on behalf of Arirang TVs new HD channel, which has recently launched on Sky 690. The UK launch of Arirang TV marks a major milestone as its the first Korean channel available to Sky viewers.

A Seoul-based public service broadcaster, Arirang TV provides a mix of English language news, cultural programmes, educational shows and documentaries. Using its unique multi-platform, multi-territory, scalable software solution Pawa, EBS is able to take all the scheduling information for Arirang TV and ensure that it meets the requirements of the Sky platform.
