Last Night's Yankees/Athletics Telecast Peaks with Average of 7.5 Million Total Viewers;

Scores TBS's Most-Watched A.L. Wild Card Game of All Time

TBS's Game Viewership Up 51% vs. Last A.L. Wild Card Airing on the Network

with Double-Digit Growth Across All Key Demos

TBS's exclusive coverage of the 2018 American League Wild Card presented by Hankook Tire - the Oakland Athletics vs. New York Yankees (8-11:30 p.m. ET) - led the network to win the night across all of cable television, based on overnight delivery. The live game telecast peaked with an average of 7.5 million total viewers from 9:15-9:30 p.m. ET, based on Nielsen Fast Nationals, and delivered significant audience growth across all platforms.

Last night's A.L. Wild Card game telecast garnered an average minute audience of 6.4 million viewers across all platforms, an increase of 51% over the 2016 A.L. Wild Card game on TBS and a 45% gain when compared to last year's N.L. Wild Card game on the network.

Double-Digit Growth Across All Key Demos

Last night's Yankees/Athletics telecast on TBS is up double digits across all key demos, including a 37% increase in People 18-49 and 32% in Men 18-34 over the network's A.L. Wild Card telecast in 2016.

Turner's TVE Platforms Up 120%

Turner's TV Everywhere platforms generated over nine million total streaming minutes, a 120% increase compared to the 2016 A.L. Wild Card Game on TBS.

Double-Digit Increases for B/R MLB Social

The 2018 A.L. Wild Card Game generated over 11 million Twitter impressions on Bleacher Report's MLB handle, a 13% increase over last year's comparable Wild Card.

Highest Local Rating for A's Game Since 2014

The Bay Area posted an 8.9 overnight rating, the best on record for an A's game telecast on any network since 2014.

TBS's exclusive coverage of the 2018 ALDS will begin tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 5, with a pair of Game 1s - Indians vs. Astros at 2 p.m. ET and Yankees vs. Red Sox at 7:30 p.m. Pregame coverage will begin 30 minutes before each game.
