At the 2016 NAB Show, Manios Digital & Film and CARTONI is introducing FOCUS, a new range of fluid heads. The four new dynamic heads, FOCUS 8, FOCUS 12, FOCUS 18 and FOCUS 22, are designed for today's most popular cameras and can accommodate packages from 0 - 22kg (0 - 48.50lbs). Each includes CARTONI's patented counterbalance system for superb performance and each comes with the company's unsurpassed 5-year warranty.
Camera operators will be inspired by the smooth fluid feel of our new FOCUS range, said CARTONIs CEO Elisabetta Cartoni. The fluid sensation is one that can only be delivered by a perfect counterbalance system. The heads are ultra-light, yet, through their simple ergonomic settings, provide perfect performance every time.
Manios Digital & Film is also be showing the latest addition to CARTONI's Lambda Series of nodal swing heads. Designed for a new generation of smaller and lighter cameras, the new Lambda 25 and Lambda 10 models will be on display, along with the classic Lambda 50.
Other CARTONI products on view include the P70, a lightweight pedestal for payloads up to 150 lbs (68kg), and a dovetail V-plate for Maxima broadcast-style fluid heads.
Now delivering from Kinotehnik is the Practilite 602, the worlds smallest bi-color, variable beam, smart LED light. The smartphone-controlled light now features increased Bluetooth functionality and a recent firmware upgrade.
New from matte box specialist Vocas is a high-quality rail system based on designs and specs from NATO.
Manios Digital & Film is also showcasing Veydras 1.2x PL to PL Expander, which makes it possible to use vintage zoom lenses from the Academy-format era with current generation Super 35 and larger sensor cameras.
