Olympic Channel Plans 00 Hours of Rio 06 Paralympic Games Coverage

The Rio 2016 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony will kick off 300 hours of live streaming coverage on the Olympic Channel on September 7, at 6:00 p.m. BRT. The Olympic Channel's daily coverage from Rio de Janeiro will be available in 162 territories and includes events and highlights shows, and concludes with the Closing Ceremony on September 18.

Over the next 11 days, more than 4,300 athletes from 159 countries will compete in 528 medal events in 233 different sports in Paralympic sport's premier event. In addition to event coverage, the Olympic Channel is on the ground in Rio to capture the behind the scenes coverage and conduct athlete interviews to develop complimentary content in support of the Paralympic Movement.
