LinkedIn is introducing Patches, the newest addition to our lineup of thinking-oriented games, available to play starting today. Inspired by the popularity of Zip, Patches is designed as its puzzle-loving sibling. It offers a fast, satisfying challenge that fits perfectly into a busy day.

Since launching LinkedIn Games, members around the world have embraced these puzzles as a quick and engaging way to exercise their minds and connect with their networks. With millions of members playing every day and 86% returning to play again the next day, LinkedIn Games continue to spark conversations, friendly competition, and moments of connection across the professional community.

Patches challenges players to stitch together a grid by filling it with rectangles and squares based on preset clues, covering the board completely with no overlaps and no gaps. The result is a puzzle that's easy to pick up, yet offers deeper logical challenges as difficulty increases throughout the week.

Alongside today's launch, LinkedIn is also introducing new ways for players to interact with their network through the connections leaderboard, which lets players see how they stack up against their network. New updates rolling out in the coming weeks will allow players to react directly to their connections' scores, favorite specific connections to track their closest competitors, and view the previous day's leaderboard to see who's climbing or defend their spot at the top.
