Motorolas latest Smartradio supports Nextel Radio Evolution, the fastest data and voice network in the market

MEXICO CITY Jan. 14, 2012 Nextel and Motorola Mobility today announced the launch of the new Motorola MASTER TOUCH, the latest Smartradio from both companies that runs on Nextel Evolution, the fastest data and voice network in the market. This new handset comes with a 4-inch touchscreen, a 5MP camera with 4X digital zoom and LED flash, and HD720p video that allows users to capture and share pictures and videos.

Motorola MASTER TOUCH is designed for users who need powerful, professional communication services, also use their mobile devices for media or productivity, and who rely on a range of mobile services for their daily activities. Motorola MASTER TOUCH offers access to more than 700,000 apps on Google Play and is preloaded with Google Mobile services, such as Google Maps and YouTube.

Operating on the Nextel Radio Evolution technology, the new Motorola MASTER TOUCH supports group calls with up to 25 participants simultaneously, allowing users to connect with other users and groups instantly. Users can also easily open and edit documents, presentations and spreadsheets with the preloaded Quickoffice suite.

Motorola MASTER TOUCH is the third Smartradio launched jointly with Nextel since the introduction of Nextel Evolution less than two months ago, reaffirming the commitment of both companies to provide customers with more and better options, said Vince Garca, iDEN commercial director at Motorola Mobility Mexico. Designed for users who require large displays and who use their phones for multiple purposes, Motorola MASTER TOUCH is ideal for work, entertainment and all kinds of mobile communication.

Powered by Android 2.3, Motorola MASTER TOUCH supports Wi-Fi connectivity, that allows users to generate an Internet hotspot to share connections with other devices, and provides easy access to social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
