La Claqueta PC and Powehi Films en coproducci n con La Cruda Realidad, Alegr a La Pel cula AIE and 9AM Media Lab han iniciado en Melilla el rodaje de Alegr a.
Esta feelgood movie dirigida por Violeta Salama abre las puertas a una ex tica boda jud a en la que descubriremos una colorida ciudad de Melilla de la mano de cuatro mujeres a las que dar n vida Cecilia Su rez (3 Caminos, La casa de las flores), Laia Manzanares (Merl , Los favoritos de Midas), Sarah Perles (El Cid, Sof a) y Mara Guill (Caronte).
Cuenta tambi n con la participaci n, entre otros, de Adelfa Calvo (El Autor, Los favoritos de Midas), Emilio Palacios (La l nea invisible), Zohar Liba (El Cid), Joe Manj n (La Virgen de Agosto) y Mar a Luisa Mayol (Qui n a hierro mata).
La nueva producci n de Clara Nieto y Olmo Figueredo Gonz lez-Quevedo, tras Adi s and Tu hijo, cuenta con un equipo t cnico de primer nivel encabezado por los ganadores del Premio Goya Pau Esteve, Pepe Dom nguez, Clara Bilbao and Jos Manuel G. Moyano.
El guion de la cinta, escrito por Violeta Salama e Isa S nchez (321 D as en Michigan, Malaka), est basado en las vivencias de la directora y fue finalista del premio SGAE Mejor Guion Julio Alejandro 2019. Adem s, ha sido desarrollado bajo el prestigioso programa Breaking through the lens en los Festivales de Cannes y Toronto.
Violeta Salama destaca que para construir el universo de Alegr a he querido huir del realismo de una ciudad fronteriza, portuaria, para llevarla a mi propio universo de infancia. Me gustar a compartir la Melilla que yo veo, la que llevo dentro, y para eso he recreado momentos de las diferentes etapas de la ciudad donde lo importante son esas mujeres que parecen tan distintas, pero comparten los mismos problemas y contradicciones. He querido tratar tanto las similitudes como las diferencias a trav s del humor, contando conflictos muy particulares de una ciudad como Melilla pero que no dejan de ser universales .
Por su parte Clara Nieto, destaca que con Alegr a queremos mostrar c mo las madres, las hijas, las amigas compartimos la capacidad de pasar por encima de lo que nos separa y resolver los conflictos colaborando entre nosotras. Y tenemos la enorme suerte de que un elenco de primer nivel, capitaneado por Cecilia Su rez, sea qui n de vida a nuestras protagonistas .
Olmo Figueredo reconoce por su parte que la pel cula es una comedia vital y optimista con tono de cuento en la l nea de referentes cinematogr ficos como Mi gran boda Griega O Caramel. Una pel cula situada en un escenario perfecto, ex tico y natural como es Melilla. Una ciudad que est tan cerca pero que desafortunadamente ha permanecido tan lejos de muchos de nosotros durante demasiado tiempo. Melilla sorprender a muchos por su belleza y ser un protagonista m s de esta boda jud a que descolocar por completo a la protagonista de nuestra historia .
