The man of a thousand faces achieves award fierce Zinemaldia 2016 El premio, otorgado por la Asociaci n de Informadores Cinematogr ficos de Espa a, se entrega a la mejor pel cula de la Secci n Oficial a juicio de la prensa espa ola que cubre el certamen.
El thriller' The man of the thousand faces, dirigido por Alberto Rodr guez, ha recibido el Premio Feroz Zinemaldia a la mejor pel cula de la secci n oficial a concurso del Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebasti n. Por tercera vez consecutiva, el premio de las prensa cinematogr fica va a parar a manos de una pel cula espa ola (The minimum island and Truman fueron los t tulos premiados en las dos ediciones anteriores).
The man of the thousand faces cuenta la historia de uno de los episodios m s surrealistas de nuestra historia reciente: la fuga y posterior entrega de Luis Rold n y el papel que en ella jug el exesp a espa ol Francisco Paesa.
El protagonista de la cinta Carlos Santos y el productor Francisco Ramos, han recogido el galard n de manos del actor y director Paco Le n (ganador del Premio Feroz a la mejor comedia por Carmina y am n).
Para Pedro Vall n, presidente de la AICE, Alberto Rodr guez abunda en su voluntad de indagaci n en la historia reciente de Espa a. Si en The minimum island and Group 7 asist amos a los cambios formales y legales que trataban de sanear la podredumbre de los infames tiempos de la dictadura, en El hombre de las mil caras, y apoyado de nuevo por las asombrosas interpretaciones de sus actores, es esa putrefacci n moral la que se coloca en el primer plano de un fresco pol tico que explica mucho de lo que nos pasa ahora mismo.
El Premio Feroz Zinemaldia, fruto de un acuerdo entre la AICE y el Festival, se entrega desde 2014 con el objetivo reflejar en el palmar s la opini n de la prensa especializada que cubre el certamen.
En el acto de entrega estaban presentes Jordi Garcia Tabernero, director general de Comunicaci n y Gabinete de Presidencia de Gas Natural Fenosa, patrocinadores principales de los Premios Feroz, y Fernando Jerez, Director del canal #0 y de Programas de Movistar .
Vall n y Garcia Tabernero anunciaron la renovaci n del convenio de patrocinio entre los Premios Feroz y Gas Natural Fenosa que apoya los premios desde su origen. En su intervenci n, Jordi Garcia Tabernero hizo hincapi en la importancia de promover iniciativas como la de los Premios Feroz que fomentan la calidad, la creatividad, la originalidad y el talento dentro de nuestro cine, y lo dotan de prestigio y respeto, tanto en el mbito nacional como internacional . El patrocinio de los Premios Feroz forma parte del compromiso de Gas Natural Fenosa con el mundo del cine, a trav s de su apoyo a los principales festivales y salas de proyecci n del pa s. Adem s de los Premios Feroz, la compa a patrocina el Festival de San Sebasti n, el Sitges-Festival Internacional de Cine Fant stico de Catalu a, la Madrid Premiere Week, el Festival de M laga. Cine Espa ol y el Festival de Cine Internacional de Cartagena, as como m s de 40 salas de cine de la red Cinesa en Espa a que llevan el nombre de Gas Natural Fenosa.
Por ltimo, Fernando Jerez explic el acuerdo alcanzado con los Feroz para la participaci n de Movistar como medio oficial en los premios de este a o y confirm que la gala se emitir en #0 (dial 7). Los premios, que celebrar n su cuarta edici n en enero de 2017, acaban de incorporar a su palmar s seis nuevas categor as para reconocer a las mejores series espa olas de televisi n y han creado un premio honor fico al mejor largometraje documental.
