When Alex (Ariel Winter) learns she has to share valedictorian honours with a rival, she competes in a tie-breaker that involves boosting her grade in gym class. Later, Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) join a protest against a restaurant where they ironically cant wait to dine.
