InSync Technology, the leading provider of premium video conversion solutions, will showcase a new generation of products at IBC 2026, designed to help broadcasters streamline the increasingly complex transition between UHD and HD, progressive and interlaced formats, and SDI and IP infrastructures.
OG-MCC Range
The new OG-MCC11 and OG-MCC21 bring UHD capability to InSync's openGear MCC range, combining high-quality downconversion with motion-compensated frame rate conversion in a single compact module.
The OG-MCC11 UHD Downconverter & Motion Compensated Frame Rate Converter Module, supports SDI signals and can process up to ten channels in a 2RU openGear frame. It can convert UHD sources to 1080p, 1080i or 720p while simultaneously performing motion-compensated frame rate conversion between 23Hz and 60Hz. This makes it particularly suited to international programme exchange and contribution applications where UHD content needs to be delivered over existing 3G/HD infrastructure, as well as simulcast and bandwidth-conscious workflows.
The OG-MCC21 SDI & ST 2110 UHD Downconverter & Motion Compensated Frame Rate Converter, extends the same functionality into hybrid environments, supporting HD/3G-SDI alongside ST 2110 10/25GbE IP. By combining UHD downconversion, frame rate conversion and SDI/IP connectivity on a single card, it enables broadcasters to bridge production and contribution environments without requiring separate gateway equipment. Support for 12G, 6G, 3G, and HD-SDI, ST 2110, ST 2022-7, PTP, FEC and NMOS provides a flexible foundation for mixed infrastructure deployments.
OG-ALC Range
InSync will also highlight the OG-ALC10 and OG-ALC20 at IBC. The dual-channel OG-ALC10 Dual Channel 3G-SDI Adaptive Linear Frame Rate Converter Module, provides linear frame rate conversion, interlacing, de-interlacing and scaling for 720p, 1080p and 1080i signals, with up to 20 processing channels available in a 2RU openGear chassis. The OG-ALC20 Dual Hybrid Linear Frame Rate Converter & Processor, adds hybrid SDI and ST 2110 connectivity, with two independent video and audio processing channels per card, allowing broadcasters to combine conversion and processing across mixed infrastructure while maximising rack-space efficiency.
FrameFormer Features
Alongside its hardware developments, InSync will demonstrate the continuing expansion of its FrameFormer technology across software-defined workflows.
InSync will showcase the expanded FrameFormer SDK, now available in Premium, Performance and Base packages. The tiered approach enables customers to select the level of motion-compensated processing and video functionality appropriate to their application.
James Taylor, CEO, InSync commented: The broadcast industry is not moving from one technology generation to another overnight. New workflows are being adopted alongside established formats and media infrastructures that remain essential to global content delivery. At InSync we are enabling our customers to respond to this constant change, while continuing to deliver the exceptional quality, reliability and interoperability their workflows demand.
Additional Updates and Enhancements
New Custom Conversion Zone, for additional control of semi-transparent graphics, logos or other on-screen elements, where motion processing is dialled down for optimised brand recognition and visual communication clarity.
Out-of-band NMOS support, for the MCC 1RU range, enables device discovery and management to operate on a separate network from the media interfaces.
Automatic HDR/SDR LUT control, to automatically select or bypass conversion LUTs according to incoming transfer characteristics.
Closed-caption handling, across MCC and openGear products, to maintain caption timing and integrity when international feeds are converted.
Dual channel Dolby E transcode for frame accurate audio management on the MCC-1RU range.
InSync will demonstrate its latest solutions at IBC2026, Hall 2 Booth 2.C30 and through partner integrations across the show, including:

At IBC, InSync will showcase its integrated partnership with Reuters News Agency and TVU. A project finalist for the IBC 2026 Innovation Awards, Capacity that follows the live news story, marks a shift from fixed-capacity infrastructure to a Global Shared Memory ecosystem powered by TVU MediaMesh . The use of TAMS (Time Addressable Media Store) allows applications to access only the required media segments and begin processing as soon as new content becomes available, providing new possibilities for near-live and faster-than-real-time processing.
