Working together as circle-o', Austrian production company West4Media and German broadcast manufacturer Riedel Communications will jointly produce coverage of the 2021 America's Cup.

The joint bid included a 360-degree concept, combining live TV production and race management systems to enhance live coverage of the 36th yacht racing tournament.

The company is developing innovative camera solutions, new audio technologies and techniques, and real-time visualisation.

Circle-o MD J rgen Eckstein said: For the first time in the history of America's Cup television coverage, technical innovation and creative content will be interwoven in a way that offers a truly cinematic view of this fascinating event.

Audiences can expect to see unconventional approaches and extraordinary vantage points that will make them feel like part of the action, he added.
