Object Matrix has an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious and highly motivated individual to join our sales team as a full-time Marketing Assistant at our Cardiff based Software Company.
The Vacancy
This role is to work within the Sales Team supporting sales delivery and sales activities. The role will be primarily focussed on supporting the Sales & Marketing Director and the Object Matrix sales team. You will also coordinate and participate in events, arrange meetings, generate reports, logs, plans and create other sales and marketing documentation. This role would suit someone who has a passion for the creative industries including broadcasting and post-production and an interest in gaining sales and marketing experience.

Object Matrix is the leading provider of digital content governance and object storage solutions to the media/entertainment industry. Customers include BBC, BT, TV Globo Brasil, NBC Universal to name a few. Based in Cardiff (UK) our offices are situated a minute walk from Cardiff Central train station making it an easy commute by train. Position Responsibilities:
Working with the sales team to create new lead generation campaigns (reseller events, cold calling
etc.)
Conducting telephone market research and follow up calls in order to identify market and client
requirements for current and future products and services
Support management of reseller channel and their deliverables (price books, pricing tools and sales collateral)
Logging reports from sales visits, meetings and conference calls into the in house management systems
Respond to emails, phone calls and other forms of correspondence.
Qualifications and Experience
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Be highly organised, focused and analytical
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads
Buckets of enthusiasm!
Fully proficient on all Microsoft Office Applications
Strong IT and data entry skills
Excellent time management ability and willingness to learn is a must
Proactive and enjoys problem solving
Ability to work individually and as part of a team u Strong attention to detail
Salary
We offer a competitive hourly rate at £8.50 p/hour. The position is full-time 40 hours p/week Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm (these hours are flexible within core working hours). We also offer the following benefits:
